Who We Are

Food Bank of Alaska is committed to ending hunger across our state. By securing and distributing food to our network of partner agencies and championing anti-hunger initiatives, we work to ensure no Alaskan goes hungry—because everyone deserves access to nourishing food.

What We Do

At Food Bank of Alaska, we empower communities to help one another. While some may think we directly serve meals, our role is different but just as critical. Through our programs, we supply more than 150 food pantries and soup kitchens statewide, enabling them to provide meals to their neighbors in need.Food Bank of Alaska helps neighbors feed neighbors. Sometimes people think that Food Bank of Alaska is a pantry that feeds hungry people directly. We are not. Instead, our programs make it possible for our 150+ partner food pantries and soup kitchens all over Alaska to feed their hungry neighbors.
