Anchorage Health Department

The Anchorage Health Department is the Municipality of Anchorage's public health department, working to make Anchorage the healthiest and safest community in the US.

The Anchorage Health Department operates the city's Public Health Clinic, licenses child care facilities, monitors food safety and sanitation, prepares for public health emergencies, and connects people with resources with the Aging and Disability Resource Center, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, and the Housing Services Division.
