Who We Are
ACT provides a variety of opportunities for all, from beginner to professional, to learn the art and craft of theatre both onstage and backstage and in our Education and Outreach Program. We produce 5 mainstage shows each season, calling on volunteers from all walks of life to bring each show to fruition. From backstage to onstage, from drama to comedy, there is something for everyone!
What We Do
Anchorage Community Theatre's goal is to enhance the quality of life culturally for the community by providing a season of locally produced exceptional theatre. For nearly 60 years, we have been a place where theatre and friends are made. Founded with a vision of providing our community with theatre in 1953, we have been an active and vibrant place for theatre lovers, old and new.
