United Way of Anchorage, Anchorage Downtown Partnership and Anchorage Chamber of Commerce are excited to partner up in joining the Citywide Cleanup efforts presented by Matson at the the Downtown Cleanup event on Saturday, May 7th, from 11 am-1 pm in Town Square Park.
Anchorage is left with lots of exposed trash on the ground after the snow melts. Join the team in getting outside and cleaning up our community together safely. Water and light snacks will be provided at check in.
WHILE PICKING UP TRASH:
1. Don’t use bare hands to pick up litter. Wear gloves and use trash pickers/grabbers when at all possible
2. Do not leave bags on the side of the road. Bring Citywide Cleanup bags back to start point or a SWS disposal facility for free disposal.
