Who We Are
The Downtown Soup Kitchen Hope Center is faith based organization that reaches out to the homeless and working poor of Anchorage. We have been providing services for over 30 years. Our mission is to help transform lives in situations of homelessness, poverty, unemployment, desperation and re-entry by providing a warm meal, hot shower, clean clothing, a safe place of shelter, job training opportunities and assistance accessing services.
Our Goal: HOPE RESTORED, HEARTS RENEWED, LIVES TRANSFORMED
What We Do
At the Downtown Soup Kitchen Hope Center we provide the following services to our community:
* Feeding Program
* Shower House
* Clothing and Laundry
* Women's Shelter
* Bakery and Culinary Job Training Skills
