Alaska Cat Adoption Team

ACAT is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization whose mission is to help Alaska's feline community.

We help displaced and unwanted kittens and their mothers find new homes, no matter how long it takes, and altering and rehoming other cats on a space-available basis.

We educate the public about the need for proper care of cats, including spaying and neutering before 6 months of age.

We cooperate with other rescue organizations to help secure safe environments for Alaska's domestic animals.

We also offer counseling on physical and emotional needs and issues of cats or kittens, advice and equipment loan for lost pets, spay/neuter assistance as well as emergency medical need funds.
