Who We Are
Hospice of Anchorage works with the client and family along with the client’s physician and the hospice interdisciplinary team - volunteers, nurses, social service coordinator, bereavement coordinator, and volunteer chaplain – to provide assistance to meet the transition from life through death and to cope with loss and grief. This may be a one time visit, periodic contact, or may grow into an ongoing relationship lasting weeks or months.
Hospice of Anchorage offers support at the time of progressive life limiting illness and with loss & grief. Lending library, literature & information are available. Periodic workshops and special events about grief, loss, death and dying are offered. Speakers on these topics are available to groups and organizations on request. Please contact Hospice of Anchorage at 561-5322 for more information.
