The Anchorage School District (ASD), The Alaska Coalition of BIPOC Educators (ACBE), and Lutheran Social Services are hosting a Back-to-School Supply Event, Help Us Give School Supplies (HUGSS). The event will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 11 AM to 7 PM at Bettye Davis East High. We want all students to be prepared for the upcoming school year. Our goal is to distribute 5,000 supply-filled backpacks to ASD students.
In addition to supplies we need volunteers on Thursday, August 1 (9-12 or 1-4) to stuff backpacks and Friday, August 2 for 3 1/2 hour shifts, beginning at 10 AM and ending at 7:30 PM for the event. Please provide your information below. Thank you for your support
