CHA was selected as this year’s non-profit beneficiary for the Beer & Bacon Festival! This is a fun event featuring the top breweries in Alaska competing for the title of Best Beer, and culinary talents fighting for the spot of #1 Bacon dish. We are looking for volunteers to support this event. See below for all of the details and how to sign up. Feel free to share this invitation to volunteer with your family/friends (age 21+). For this off-site event there is no additional volunteer paperwork required. We are especially in need of volunteers with their TAPS card to serve beer. If you have any questions, let me know.
What: 7th Annual Beer & Bacon Festival
When: Saturday, July 27th 1-6pm (Volunteer shifts range from 12:00pm-7:00pm)
Where: The Lakefront Anchorage (4800 Spenard Rd.)
Attire: You’ll need to dress for the weather with this outdoor event. Volunteers will receive a Beer & Bacon volunteer shirt to wear that day.
Important Details: Please note that volunteers may not partake in any drinking or tasting of the samples as these are meant for paid attendees. You may instead choose to purchase a ticket to attend HERE. But buy fast as they’re nearly sold out. You could also volunteer for the first shift and use your purchased ticket for after your volunteer duties.
