Extend a helping hand and heart to Hospice of Anchorage clients and families during life's most challenging journey. Learn to support persons nearing the end of life and their families, while sharing your skills and talents.
As a volunteer you might: Make visits, listen to life stories; help record memories or write letters; run errands, prepare a meal or help with chores; provide transportation; or share music or books, spiritual care, handicrafts, certified massage, etc.
For further information about becoming a Compassionate Companion volunteer and to sign up for this educational two-day training, please contact Molly Evans, Volunteer Services Coordinator at Hospice of Anchorage: pone 561-5322.
